I wish I had a dollar for every email I've received over the last four years from people who are searching, often in vain,
for a job they can do at home. A lot of these people have been scammed so many times it's not funny. Yet they still continue to spend their
hard-earned money on what most often turns out to be another worthless product or membership site.
Why?
These people aren't stupid; they're just desperate. They want to believe that this time things will be different. People will
write to me and ask me to check out this site or that one. They're all pretty much the same, really. Rarely do they have sufficient contact
information, and no guarantee if you're not satisifed with the product. Just a lot of pie-in-the-sky promises.
That makes me angry. Really angry.
These so-called "work-at-home" sites lead their visitors to believe that out there, somewhere, are thousands of employers ready and willing to hire them for minimally-skilled jobs, pay them a
set salary (with benefits) like they would be in an office environment, and give them the same hours, time off, etc. that they would expect in an on-site
position.
But the reality is this...most employers simply aren't going to do that. The reason is simple - employers keep these types of jobs in house
for a very specific reason - to maintain control of their employees.
In this way they can be sure that the work is being done in a timely fashion.
It simply wouldn't be practical, for the most part, to hire people to do this work at home for the same amount of money and benefits as they pay their
in house employees.
It is true, however, that some companies do hire home-based workers to do data entry, word processing, etc. - but they are generally not paid a set salary but rather
are paid by production. They get no benefits, nor are they entitled to paid vacations. These jobs were rare in the past, but I do see them on the rise as
employers are learning that by outsourcing these jobs to individuals who are willing to work for less money and little or no benefits, they can reduce their own
costs. However, these jobs are difficult to locate as they are rarely advertised but are usually filled by word-of-mouth. Since there are always so many people
who want these jobs, they are usually grabbed up quickly.
If you truly want to work from home, you may have to change your mindset just a bit. Know that many, many people work from home these days. They generally
fall into one of these categories:
- highly-sought-after individuals whose skill sets are in high demand
- people who have worked for their employer in-house for a number of years and who have negotiated with their employer to bring their job home
- freelancers who work on an as-needed basis for a number of different employers (again, these people generally have a strong skill set)
- individuals who have started their own home business
As you can see, these people didn't wait for a job to fall into their lap. They all, in one way or another, created their own opportunity.
And you can too - if you're motivated enough and are willing to do what it takes to make yourself a valuable home-based employee for someone.
Fortunately for you, there's a wonderful woman who has put together a fantastic guide that gives you a step-by-step approach to locate work at home
positions. She's done it herself (more than once) so she knows what she's talking about. I've written a review of her product (you can read it below) and
can tell you that it's the only product I recommend for anyone who is truly serious about working from home and is willing to do the work necessary to get
a home-based position.
Review: The Essential Home Job Search Guide
Today I want to share with you my views on Grace Washington's
product,
The Essential Home Job Search GuideTM.
But first I want to tell you about Grace Washington.
I first "met" Grace about a month ago - she contacted me to
introduce herself and to let me know that she'd quoted me in
one of her articles on her website. She was gracious enough
to direct me to the page where it appeared, so naturally I
visited her site. I read over her copy and was very impressed
with her style. We began an online correspondence and, as
netpreneurs often do, discovered a lot of common ground. She
offered me complimentary access to her guidebook (it's all online)
and asked for feedback. The rest, as they say, is history.
When I tell you that her work is some of the most comprehensive,
detailed, meticulous, painstaking research I have ever seen, I am
not using hyperbole to make a point. That's just the plain and
simple truth.
Grace has put her whole heart and soul into her product. This is
no half-baked, slapped together jumble of information. In this
guide, Grace details for her readers a step-by-step, methodical
plan that anyone who is serious enough about working from home
can follow - and succeed.
But she doesn't stop there. Heck, no. Before she even gets
into the step-by-step instructions, she lays it out for her
customers.
- The scams and how to spot them (and how to stop
being victimized by them).
- How important it is to define your perfect job
BEFORE you begin your search. You will be
surprised at what you discover about yourself
and how that has hindered your success in the past.
- How changing your thinking will change your life.
The result of Grace's commitment to excellence, honesty, and
integrity is evident on every single page. And through my
correspondence with this fine lady, I can tell you that she is
a first class entrepreneur who is determined to provide the very
best product and service to her customers that she is capable of.
Because it is an online guide rather than an ebook, it is being
constantly updated. I've been accessing it for a couple of
weeks now and each time I go back she's added something new.
I honestly don't know of anyone working online - even those of
us who make our living in our own business as opposed to working
for others - who can't benefit from the information she's put
together here. I can tell you that I've been in this business
for well over three years and I was completely amazed at the
volume of information she has here. She reveals websites and
resources that I never knew existed - which is only one of the
many benefits of owning it. One could spend months, even years,
searching the internet and not find even half of what she has
here. She could ask much, much more for her guide than she
does - and get it.
But that's not her style. She just wants to get this information
out there so that others don't have to struggle through the
learning curve that she and many others have already experienced.
I urge all of you to visit her website and read more about what
The Essential Home Job Search GuideTM contains.
And take my word for it - it's all that she says, and more.
The Essential Home Job Search GuideTM
Oh, by the way...
This guide can be used by anyone, anywhere - it's not limited
to the United States. Read over Grace's testimonials from
satisfied customers and you'll see that they are everywhere!
End of Review
As you read over Grace's information, you cannot help but be impressed by her thoroughness and attention to detail. I have recommended
this resource without reservation since March of 2003, and I will continue to do so. Since I first accessed the guide, Grace has
been true to her promise. She updates it on a regular basis, and I continue to be impressed with the wealth of information she provides.
